After a few months of weekly street protests in Hong Kong that impacted the airport for a few days and caused street closures, the city’s exhibition industry forged ahead with several major shows opening recently.   Fifty-plus of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre’s (the Centre) team members dressed in purple, white and green (2019 IWD colours) and enjoyed a walk around the lush 50-acre Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) park to mark the recent International Women’s Day (IWD). In a development for China’s textile care market, it’s been announced that the upcoming edition of the new TXCA & CLE show, an international trade fair for textile laundry, leather care, cleaning technology and equipment, will be held Sept. 25-27 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, China.
