UBM India has launched the 11th edition of Food ingredients India and Health ingredients (Fi India & Hi) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 22nd to 24th August. After being held in Western India since 2006, the 2016 edition was held in New Delhi for the first time. The show will now rotate between Mumbai and New Delhi annually. With over 200 exhibitors from 12 participating countries, the trade show targeted at the food and health ingredients, processing and packaging industry. In the late 1800s, the need for safe drinking water was a critical issue. So, in March of 1881, 22 men representing water utilities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky and Tennessee met on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis for the first of what would eventually become the Annual Conference & Exposition of the American Water Works Association (AWWA). Attendance wasn’t officially recorded until 1965 in Portland, Oregon, where 3,857 attended.
