Dallas’ New Hotels Delight and Inspire

With more than 2,000 rooms being added to Dallas’ hotel inventory in the coming years, the city is experiencing the second-largest hotel boom in the nation. From top brands like Virgin Hotels to independent and interesting properties, like HALL Arts Hotel, Dallas boasts a hotel type and price point for every preference and budget.

Recently opened in December, the HALL Arts Hotel is the essence of luxury and elevated style. Set in Dallas’ prominent Arts District, the boutique hotel features contemporary art throughout from local artists and beyond. Plus, with more than 6,000 square feet of meeting space, the property has prime services and location to make your event spectacular.

The Virgin Hotels Dallas also debuted in December and is the pinnacle of top-tier accommodations. The multi-million lifestyle hotel has all the amenities savvy travelers expect—including the brand’s flagship space, Commons Club – and a restaurant headed by prominent Dallas chef, Matt McCallister. One of the hotels most notable aspects is its prime location in the Design District, one of Dallas’ most vibrant and up-and-coming neighborhoods. The neighborhood is known for its art and industry showrooms and is now thriving with new restaurants, bars and retail.

Another complement to the Design District will be the landmark Cabana Motor Hotel, opening in 2021. Originally built in the 1960s and renowned for hosting famous guests such as Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles, the landmark Cabana Motor Hotel is getting a $100 million dollar renovation. The restoration will add over 200 rooms while preserving the hotel’s distinct architectural traits, adding even more allure to this lively neighborhood.

Dallas’ chic and trendy Uptown neighborhood is set to welcome three new hotels in the coming years. Enjoy high-tech amenities at Marriott Uptown and sophisticated experiences at the first dual-branded Motto and Spark Hilton hotel. Experience five-star luxury accommodations and service at the first Dallas location of a Mandarin Oriental-branded hotel, or indulge at the newly renovated and iconic Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.

These hotels are just a few of the ones making their way to Dallas. With more than 33,000 rooms and over 255 hotels calling Dallas home, the city has plenty of accommodations to cater to the Dallas visitor.
