MEDTEC China Set to Feature Two Conferences
UBM Canon’s MEDTEC China 2013 will take place on Sept. 25-26 at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center, along with two conferences - MDiT Forum and Regulation Summit 2013 and OrthoTec China 2013; both are organized by UBM Conferences.
MDiT Forum and Regulation Summit 2013 will be held Sept. 24-26. This conference also will focus on new regulations and technologies and is characterized by high quality, multiple dimensions and in-depth discussions.
There will be six modules, with the themes of "Chinese Regulatory Updates and Implementation," "Design and Innovations," "Overseas Regulatory Updates and Market Access," "Wireless/Mobile Medical," "Clinical Trial of Medical Devices," and "Risk Management & Quality Control".
Four professional speeches will be arranged in each module to provide the opportunity for information sharing and experience learning, according to event organizers.
More than 20 high level speakers from the government, MD manufacturers, and scientific research institutions will be invited to this conference.
Speakers from FDA China and SFDA Shanghai are confirmed and more guest speakers are in the process of confirming, according to event organizers.
OrthoTec China 2013will take place Sept. 25-26. More than 13 high-level industry experts are already confirmed to deliver speeches at this event, including Nicole Taylor Smith, assistant country director - Medical Devices from U.S. Food and Drug Administration China Office; Dr. Jarrett Cain, assistant professor from USA Penn State Hershey Medical Centre; Dr. Hyzan Yusof, CEO & Consultant Orthopedic from Malaysia OSA Technology & Sunway Medical Centre, and Urs Mattes, general manager China/Hong Kong fromMathys Ltd Bettlach.
They will discuss more than10 timely topics such as "Evaluating the future of knee arthroplasty in China," " Reviewing the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Regulatory Requirements for Medical Devices," and "A regional perspective of Orthopedic Industry: Ideas to manufacturing and marketing Orthopedic implants in South East Asia."
