Tarsus, E. J. Krause Expand Show Partnership to Include Industrial Print Expo

March 8, 2014

Tarsus Group and E.J. Krause & Associates have expanded their partnership even more by adding the planned launch of Industrial Print Expo next year.

Industrial Print Expo will be Mexico’s first trade show exclusively dedicated to industrial print within manufacturing, according to show officials.

The 2015 event will be collocated Feb. 3-5, 2015, with Expo Manufactura at Cintermex Monterrey.

“Industrial printing is a new and fast growth sector being driven by a number of our core customers from the labelling and signage markets,” said Tarsus Managing Director Douglas Emslie.

He added, “We are very excited to launch the first show into this new frontier.”

Industrial Print Expo will bring together companies providing print solutions used in the manufacturing, assembly, marking, decoration and distribution of a wide range of electrical, mechanical and industrial machine products and components.

The showfloor will include the latest developments in inkjet technology and 3-D printing, as well as feature print technologies ranging from screen, hot stamping, laser and thermal transfer.

The event will bring together specialists and key decision makers from both the public and private sectors.

Industrial printing is an area for innovation and growth, playing a greater role in the manufacturing sector. Currently, industrial print is being used across a wide variety of industrial applications to increase productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, enable customization and produce shorter or unique runs.

According the McKinsey report 3-D printing alone could generate economic impact of $230 billion to $550 billion per year by 2025, mainly from consumer and manufacturing use.

Industrial Print Expo will build off the synergies of Tarsus’ Labelexpo series, global events for the labels and package printing industry.

Tarsus and E.J. Krause formed their JV in November 2013, with Tarsus securing a 50-percent stake in two existing E.J. Krause shows – Plastimagen and Expo Manufactura.

Emslie said at the time of Tarsus’ decision to expand its portfolio into Mexico: “Mexico is a large and fast-growing market that has close trading ties with the US. The Mexican exhibition market is highly fragmented at present and offers exciting potential for growth.”

In February, the two companies also announced the planned launch of the Global Education Supplies & Solutions Exhibition May 2015 at the World Trade Center in Mexico.
