Nearly 200 Exhibitors Confirmed for Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology Show

February 24, 2014

The Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology show has confirmed nearly 200 exhibitors are signed up for its 2014 edition, taking place June 9-12 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex.

For its 11th edition, the show will aim to further promote the development of smart cities, energy-efficient buildings, as well as smart grid systems in China’s rapidly growing urbanization projects.

Recognized as Asia’s premier platform for electrical engineering and building and home automation technology, the show continues to garner substantial support from leading industry players.

Some of the exhibitors that are participating include BOCHO (Switzerland), Control4 (USA), Dooya (China), Dynalite (Australia), Echelon (USA), EnOcean (Germany), Futina (China), HDL (China), IISFREE (China), LeGrand (France), Simbrom (China), WAGO Electronic (Germany) and Z-Wave (USA).

The show is held concurrently with the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition and Building Solar China, as well as Wire & Cable Guangzhou.

Visitors are anticipated from a wide range of disciplines, such as energy service providers, power companies, system integrators, architects, designers, contractors and end-users.

“We reached some great heights in 2013, and I believe we will continue this momentum into 2014,” said Lucia Wong, deputy general manager of Messe Frankfurt.

She added, “Under the tremendous demand for energy efficiency and smart city solutions in China, I believe the show will not only provide new business opportunities, but will also allow attendees to stay up to date on the industry’s latest trends. I look forward to viewing all the recent technologies and solutions offered by our participating brands.”

Smart cities and energy-saving technology have become prime concerns of China’s building market. The Chinese government has publicized its smart city program by recently unveiling development plans for more than 200 smart cities, districts and towns.

It is estimated that the market of smart city solutions in China will be worth RMB 500 billion by 2025.

In addition to smart cities, the Chinese government also has started implementing mandatory energy efficiency standards for new buildings.

Current national goals project at least 95 percent of all new buildings in China to meet the country’s new energy efficiency standards by 2015.

Guangzhou Electrical Building Technology is organized by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd.
