Association for Iron and Steel Technology Renews Contract with Convention Data Services
The Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) has extended their contract with their preferred registration partner, Convention Data Services (CDS), through 2017.
Under the agreement, CDS will continue to provide full registration services, lead management and exhibitor services for the annual AISTech conference.
The exhibition will feature technologies from all over the world that help steel producers compete more effectively in today’s global market. Additionally, AIST will use CDS’ X·Press eReg, a complete self-serve registration solution for specialty events, for their Galvatech event in Canada.
“We’ve evolved our registration process tremendously over the past seventeen years, thanks to CDS’ continuous advances in technology and our great working relationship. We look forward to the continued development and growth of our partnership for years to come,” said Stacy Varmecky, general manager, Membership Services, AIST.
AIST is a non-profit technical association of 16,500 members from 70 countries, with the mission to advance the technical development, production, processing and application of iron and steel. The organization is recognized as a global leader in networking, education and sustainability programs for advancing iron and steel technology.
“We are so pleased to extend our partnership with AIST, a CDS client since 1997. Our CDS team is excited to not only provide top-quality full-service registration and lead management solutions to AIST for their annual event, but to also introduce them to CDS’ X·Press eReg for their turn to host Galvatech 2015 which takes place in Canada,” said David Lawton, executive vice president of sales at Convention Data Services.
