World of Concrete's Rig Racin' Mobile Game App Scores 100,000-plus Downloads
Hanley Wood Exhibitions’ World of Concrete just wrapped up in Las Vegas and not only did the show fare well, but also the mobile game app made specifically for it – Rig Racin’ – scored a whopping 100,000-plus downloads.
Game players had the opportunity to steer mixer trucks through three action-packed, challenging game-play environments.
Players had to deliver their cement load on time to receive in-game rewards and to advance to more challenging levels throughout the game.
The better the player, the more in-game cash the player could earn to purchase new themes for various mixer trucks.
“As we celebrate the 40th edition of World of Concrete in 2014 this month, the timing could not have been better for the launch of this exciting game. We are thrilled that it has been so successful in such a brief period of time,” said Tom Cindric, vice president, Hanley Wood Exhibitions.
He added, “We are proud to be providing this digital extension of the World of Concrete event to the gaming world. It’s definitely a unique platform in the tradeshow industry.”
With more than 100,000 downloads, the game also had a significant impact on creating brand awareness for World of Concrete.
Hanley Wood partnered with Soap Creative, a digital interactive group to create the concrete-themed racing game

The game is available in the Apple App Store for iOS devices and Google Play for Android devices.
