The fifth edition of Singapore Airshow, organized by Experia Events, will be held from 16th to 21st February 2016. Over 1,000 companies from some 50 countries have confirmed their attendance at the show, according to the organiser. Over 90% of exhibition space has been sold and 75% of the space has been taken by returning exhibitors and industry leaders. The 2016 Singapore Airshow will also feature business forums, industry conferences, a leadership summit and forum, in addition to the exhibition.

Macau’s Statistics and Census Service (DSEC) has released the city’s MICE statistics for the third quarter of 2015. The city hosted 29 exhibitions and 184 conferences – an increase of 12% and 19% year-on-year respectively. The total number of participants and attendees at Macau’s MICE events increased by an impressive 41% to reach 1,009,794.

The trade show industry continued its growth streak into the third quarter of this year, with a 3.1-percent uptick, compared with the same quarter last year, marking the 21st straight quarter of growth, according to the Center for Exhibition Industry Research’s Index Report.
"We are very encouraged to see three very strong quarters of growth for the year," said CEIR President and CEO Brian Casey.
He added, "We will be watching with great interest how the year ends based on fourth quarter results, and anticipate growth to continue into 2016 and 2017."

A lot of technology companies are focusing on an app for this and an app for that, but a company based in Isreal, MUV Interactive, has come up with a small, inexpensive gadget that packs a big experience punch.
BIRD is a wearable device that fits on your index finger and senses everything your fingers are doing in space. It allows you to do everything you might do on a tablet device such as touch and gestures, but BIRD is remarkable in that it allows you to do all those things while 100 feet away from that device.
