Dedicated U.S. Pavilion Will Debut on CIBTM Showfloor
With the United States identified by hosted buyers attending CIBTM, as one of the top destinations of interest, the show has introduced a dedicated U.S. pavilion on the show floor, which will allow U.S. exhibitors to target the China meetings market.
The new pavilion at CIBTM, part of the Reed Travel Exhibitions portfolio, will provide a dedicated meeting area for exhibitors to showcase their products to visitors and hosted buyers with proven purchasing power.
Each U.S. exhibitor also will be supplied with a pre-scheduled diary of appointments with hosted buyers who have identified the U.S. as a destination of interest.
“We have introduced this pavilion as a direct result of the demand we have witnessed from Hosted Buyers who have specified a strong interest in the U.S. as a destination for holding large scale meetings and incentive trips,” said Jeffrey Xu, Reed Travel Exhibitions, CIBTM project manager.
He added, “The new feature area will also provide great value and return on investment for U.S. suppliers as they will also receive additional support in terms of marketing exposure as part of their participation.”
CIBTM is the only meetings industry exhibition certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, according to Reed Travel Exhibitions officials.
The U.S. Department of Commerce awarded CIBTM certification as a direct result of the significant business potential that China holds for American organisations, and the experience that Reed Travel Exhibitions has within the industry.
CIBTM 2013 takes place Sept. 2-4 at the China National Convention Centre in Beijing.
