Deutsche Messe, an international exhibition organiser, will launch a new international fair for the metalworking and sheet metal working industry, Metal + Tech, in Foshan, Guangdong province.

The new fair will be held from 27th to 30th November 2018 at the Guangdong (Tanzhou) International Convention and Exhibition Center. Organised by Deutsche Messe and its Chinese subsidiary, Milano Fairs Shanghai, the fair will be held annually and it will feature the latest metalworking and sheet metal working solutions including machine tools, sheet metal equipment and sheet metal production plants and tools. The inaugural fair is expected to occupy an exhibition space of over 30,000 m2 and attract more than 40,000 trade visitors.

Andreas Luttmann, Global Director Metal Processing at Deutsche Messe, commented, “Metal + Tech will help our exhibitors gain access to one of China’s fastest-growing economic regions. We’ve already received a great deal of positive feedback from the industry and we’re confident that Metal + Tech will become one of southern China’s leading metalworking technology platforms.”
