March 25, 2013

Reed Exhibitions China, along with its sister company Reed MIDEM, will launch MIPIM China, which will be a dedicated exhibition, conference and networking event for real estate professionals who are specifically interested in the Chinese market.

The existing MIPIM Asia, scheduled Nov. 5-6 at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong, will focus on a high-level conference program, as opposed to exhibition, as well as premium networking opportunities and the MIPIM Asia Awards.

The event will be a summit for leading real estate decision-makers operating throughout the Asia property market.

"I am delighted that Reed Exhibitions China is teaming up with Reed MIDEM to introduce the MIPIM brand to China with this new event in Shanghai in 2014, and we have already received enthusiastic support from a number of Chinese real estate companies,” said Paul Beh, Reed Exhibition's President of South Asia.

He added, “The exhibition-based format in China will complement the summit in Hong Kong."

Reed MIDEM produces several shows, including MIPTV, MIPDOC, MIPCOM, and MIPJUNIOR for the television and digital content industries, MIDEM for music professionals, MIPIM, MIPIM Asia  and MAPIC for the property and retail real estate sectors and LeWeb Paris and LeWeb London for the internet sector.

“As a summit for real estate leaders, MIPIM Asia in Hong Kong will provide a unique platform for top executives and companies interested in real estate throughout Asia” said Reed MIDEM CEO Paul Zilk.

He added, “By introducing MIPIM China in 2014, we will create an event which is much more deeply focused on the enormous potential of the Chinese market.”

Reed Exhibitions China has several member companies, such as Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, Reed Huabo Exhibitions, Reed Huaqun Exhibitions, Reed Exhibitions (Shanghai), to name a few.
