TCEB to Bring Global Media Events into Thailand

Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) launched 2016 Fiscal Year Kick Off, announced its plan to bring in regional media conferences of global scale.

The first event to note is the 14th CNBC Asia Business Leader Award 2015, which will take place from 28th to 29th October 2015, at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. Over 200 foreign business leaders and another 100 local guests are expected to join the event. Another prominent event to note is the Bloomberg ASEAN Business Summit 2015, which will be held from 3rd to 4th December 2015, at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok. Over 300 international business leaders will attend the event.

TCEB targets MICE industry growth of 5%, with 1,060,000 MICE travellers, generating 92 billion Baht (US$2.6 billion) of revenue, in the fiscal year 2016. About 18% of MICE travellers are coming for international exhibitions. 33% of MICE travellers will come to attend international conferences. The rest will travel to Thailand for meetings and incentives.
