May 15, 2018

Food&HotelAsia (FHA) and ProWine Asia (Singapore) concluded last month, attracting an impressive 81,896 attendees and over 7,200 trade visitors.

Organised by UBM, FHA 2018 featured 3,500 exhibitors from 76 countries and regions, with 71 international group pavilions, including first time exhibitors from Latvia, Tunisia and Qatar. The 81,896 attendees came from more than 105 countries and regions, representing an increase of 14% compared with the last edition held in 2016.

The second edition of ProWine Asia (Singapore) was jointly organised by Messe Düsseldorf Asia and UBM, and was held concurrently with FHA. Some 300 companies from 33 countries and regions showcased their products at the event, including 14 national and country groups. According to the organisers about 40% of the visitors were from outside Singapore – primarily from Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The next edition of FHA will return in 2020, but UBM plans to split the event into two separate shows running on different dates. The shows will be named: FHA-HoReCa and FHA-Food & Beverage. HoReCa will be held from 3rd to 6th March 2020, while Food & Beverage will be co-located with ProWine (Singapore) 2020, running from 31st March to 3rd April 2020.
