Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association Names Coulter as New Management Firm
The Healthcare Convention and Exhibitors Association has named management firm Coulter to provide comprehensive association management services to the organization, effective Nov. 1.
Amy Lotz, CAE, Coulter vice president, will serve as HCEA’s executive director.
HCEA’s goal is to provide the effectiveness and promoting the value of all conventions, meetings and exhibitions for the healthcare industry.
In its provision of full-service association management to HCEA, Coulter will provide guidance through strategic planning and analysis, event management and fundraising, and communications and public relations, while serving as the association’s comprehensive headquarters management and operations team.
“HCEA is excited to be working with Coulter and Amy Lotz,” said Christine Farmer, HCEA president.
She added, “Based on Coulter’s breadth of clients and knowledge of the industry, we believe the company is the perfect choice to enhance HCEA’s efficiency, impact and services – benefitting both our members and healthcare meetings and exhibitors. Lotz, CAE has more than 20 years of association management experience and has been with Coulter for the past 13 years, where she has led several associations.
Her nonprofit management experience stems from her 7 years with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, where she served as the senior manager of membership and board relations and was integral in the launch of a new institutional membership model.
HCEA ranks the top 50 medical-related trade shows every year in the U.S., as well as holds event, including its annual meeting and marketing summit.
