Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre Hosts 115 Exhibitions in FY 2012/2013
The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre continues to dominate in the Asia/Pacific region, with a total of 1,180 events, including115 exhibitions and 30 conferences held there in FY 2012/2013.
During the same time period, seven organizers launched new events at the venue, as well as seven of the exhibitions were held at HKCEC for the first time. Those seven first-time shows included a wide range of industries, such as real estate, bakery, diving and resort, sports and interior design.
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Ltd (“HML”) is the professional private management company responsible for the venue management and daily operation of the HKCEC.

Of the 115 exhibitions held in FY2013/13, 104 of them were recurrent events. In the reported year, 20 of the recurrent exhibitions recorded double-digit growth in terms of gross exhibition space, compared with their previous editions.
Besides exhibitions, there also were 30 conferences, 22 were international and 11 were new to the HKCEC. Those conferences covered a diverse range of topics, from medical science, dentistry, and yoga to spinal care related subjects.
Other than exhibitions, the HKCEC also was home to corporate meetings, banquets and entertainment events.
In total, 1,180 events held at the HKCEC in FY2012/13 attracted more than 5.2 million visitors from around the world to the venue.
