The 40th anniversary edition of Labelexpo Europe concluded its largest, most international show to date last month. Held Sept. 24-27 at Brussels Expo in Belgium, the 2019 event covered nine halls and nearly 40,000 square meters (430,500 square feet) of floor space, up from 37,600 square meters (404,700 square feet) in 2017. Almost three out of four Americans are unprepared for the October 2020 deadline for full implementation of REAL ID, and millions could be prevented from boarding a plane due to lack of required identification, according to a U.S. Travel Association-commissioned study.

RFID locks were installed on all meeting room doors, and over 200 motion detection cameras have been placed throughout the space.

Featuring white-washed walls and ceilings adorned with bold floral patterns in cerulean and coral tones, the space is complemented by warm walnut accent walls. In addition to the redesign of all pre-function spaces, meeting rooms and ballrooms, Mandalay Bay's 1 million square feet of exhibit space has undergone a rejuvenation, including new paint, covered pillars and relocated strobe lights.
