TCEB Unveils 5-year MICE Roadmap

The September Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair (September Fair), organised by UBM Asia, held its 33rd edition this week. The trade fair runs from 16th to 20th September and is held at two venues. At AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), it will be held from 18th to 22nd September. The finished jewellery section will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC).

According to UBM, this year’s edition has set a new record with 3,752 exhibitors, covering over 135,000 m2 across the two venues. With over 450 diamond companies and 760 gemstone companies participating, the fair is billing itself as the world’s largest diamond pavilion and Asia’s biggest gemstone marketplace. UBM Asia expects the trade fair will draw over 60,000 buyers.

Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs, UBM Asia, commented, “The Fair is not only an effective marketplace and platform to tap into the Asian markets, but also functions as a ‘filter’ as only serious buyers and exhibitors will attend world-class fairs like the September Fair. A fair of this calibre offers tremendous value to both exhibitors and buyers. It also provides easy access to some of the industry’s most reputable vendors, thus helping the industry to continue to grow.”
