Reed Huabai Exhibitions Will Launch China Daily-Use Article Trade Fair
Reed Huabai Exhibitions, part of Reed Exhibitions Greater China together with the CCAGM (China Commerce Association for General Merchandise), will launch a new edition of the China Daily-Use Article Trade Fair (CDATF) in Wuhan this year.
Prior to this change, the CDATF event was only held in Shanghai. The inaugural Wuhan edition will be held from November 6-8 at Wuhan International Expo Center, following the 108th CDATF to be held in Shanghai at the end of July.
The move is part of Reed’s portfolio expansion strategy that has seen the organizer of high profile international trade events, boost its presence in second tier regional markets.
CDATF Wuhan will focus on kitchenware, dinnerware, small white goods, household electric appliances, home arts and crafts, fitness, outdoor and gardening products.
The show is expected to exceed an exhibition area of 15,000 square meters and attract more than 10,000 trade visitors from across China’s thriving daily-use article industry.
The new CDATF event in Wuhan will be the 10th show to be held this year in Reed Exhibitions Greater China's growing Gift & Homeware cluster.
Following the successful launch of the event in Shanghai, the Wuhan show will be another business opportunity for exhibitors and procurers. It also will be a key launchpad for companies waiting to expand into Central China.
“Reed Exhibitions will set up formal and informal alliances with local governments and associations, based on our brand name, sales know-how, extensive databases, marketing expertise, strong networks and profound industry knowledge,” said RXGC Vice President Gary Liu.
He added, “CDATF Wuhan enjoys great support from the Wuhan Commerce Bureau and Wuhan Commercial Federation. Wuhan International Expo Center, is a great facilitating partner, providing comprehensive services and creating an environment that is conducive to brisk business and onsite comfort.”
Buyers will include representatives of major department stores across the cities and townships in Hubei province.
Wuhan strategically is located in Central China, surrounded by nine provinces - Hunan, Jiangxi, Henan, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Guizhou, Anhui, Jiangsu, and Hubei.
The mega-city of Chongqing, located in Southwest China and directly administered by the State Council, also is nearby. Its strategic location makes Wuhan an important international port along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
The city boasts further geographical advantages through its position as China’s biggest in-land air and water transportation center. Known as the country’s geo-economic core, Wuhan is a gateway to a lot of markets in the heart of China.
