PCMA’s Digital Experience Institute Unveils The Power of Digital Events White Paper

April 18, 2017

PCMA’s Digital Experience Institute [DEI] recently released the publication of their The Power of Digital Events white paper.

“The emergence of live streaming and digital events has significantly shifted how participants engage with our organization,” said Deborah Sexton, PCMA president and CEO.

She added, “Our goal in transparently sharing PCMA’s six years of results is to assist those organizations, who desire to expand and enhance their engagement strategies, build a business case for digital events.”

This comprehensive white paper examines the power of digital events in 2017, which includes insights into adult learning, virtual and hybrid events as an engagement strategy, and the value of second screen technology.

The paper also includes an overview of PCMA case studies, highlighting return on investment (ROI) and return on engagement (ROE) hard data over the organization’s six years digital event and engagement strategy.

PCMA’s data included in this report proves that a long term digital event strategy delivers both exponential revenue and engagement from audiences.

“A digital engagement strategy is crucial to any brand experience,” said Larry Luteran, EVP & Chief Sales Officer, Freeman AV, which sponsored the report.

He added, “As we see the shift from meeting ‘attendee’” to meeting ‘participant’ it puts a premium on the need to capture and sustain the audience in creative and collaborative ways. Virtual and online events offer marketers a strategic approach to increase and sustain engagement and ultimately drive ROI.”

Additionally, DEI’s findings include eight valuable lessons learned throughout PCMA’s six years of tracking and evaluating its digital event results.

Through sponsorship by Freeman, event professionals can receive complimentary access to The Power of Digital Events white paper here.
