Event venue hospitality partner Centerplate has been awarded a long-term contract with the World Market Center Las Vegas to provide hospitality and food service at the newly enhanced furniture, gift and home décor venue. The contract will grant Centerplate management of the venue’s catering, food and beverage and concessions services.

Centerplate, which also works with the Las Vegas Convention Center, will provide experienced talent that leverages recognized culinary, hospitality, facility design and development best practices to deliver highly distinctive and innovative menu offerings at the venue, according to Centerplate officials.

“We are honored and ecstatic to be chosen for this new and exciting venue, a market we know well,” said Steve Pangburn, Centerplate CEO. “Our team stands ready to provide outstanding guest experiences through a focus on quality and customer service, partnerships with premium local, regional and national partners, and innovative new design.”

Stockholmsmässan Signs Deal with Explori

Stockholmsmässan, the Nordic region’s leading exhibition center and organizer, has recently signed a deal with event research firm Explori to benchmark and monitor customer experience using event analytics.

“Understanding customer data in a fast, reliable and structured way is key to staying ahead in this industry,” explained Christina Kilstrom, marketing and communications director at Stockholmsmässan. “We are happy to start working with Explori given their digital, intuitive approach and vast knowledge in the events industry.”

The new deal comes at a time when Explori is not only expanding its product offering to provide venues with research and benchmarking, but also develop a Nordic-specific set of customer experience benchmarks to further contextualize performance in Scandinavia, according to company officials.

“We’re delighted to be working with Stockholmsmässan on a long-term basis,” said Richard Kensett, commercial director for Explori. “They run some of the biggest and best events in the Nordic region and it’s great to welcome them to the Explori benchmarking community.”
