ProWine Asia to Alternate Between Singapore and Hong Kong

June 7, 2016

Messe Düsseldorf, organiser of ProWein, a leading trade fair for wine and spirits worldwide, announced plans to launch ProWine Asia in Hong Kong in 2017. The annual event will alternate between Singapore and Hong Kong.

In 2013, ProWein was first introduced in Asia as ProWine China, held in Shanghai, and co-organised with China International Exhibitions Ltd, a member of Allworld Exhibitions. ProWine Asia was launched in Singapore in April 2016, with initial plans for it to be a biennial event. However, the organiser has now changed its approach and ProWine Asia will be held annually – alternating between Singapore and Hong Kong.

The first Hong Kong-based ProWine Asia will be held from 8th to 11th May 2017 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). ProWine Asia will be held concurrently with HOFEX, a leading food fair in Hong Kong. The event will be organised in cooperation between Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd. and Hong Kong Exhibition Services Ltd., also a member of Allworld Exhibitions. The next ProWine in Singapore will take place at Singapore Expo from 24th to 27th April 2018.
