Earlier this week, NASDAQ-listed Global Sources opened its Mobile Electronics exhibition running from 18th to 21st October at Hong Kong’s AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE). Featuring some 2,600 booths, the show focused on smartphones, tablets, wearable devices and mobile accessories. October is set to be the busiest MICE month at Marina Bay Sands as the integrated resort welcomes 17 major tradeshows and key conferences. It is the highest number of tradeshows and conferences to be held at Marina Bay Sands in a single month since its opening in 2010. Las Vegas unveiled its trade show booth, Vegas Interactive, at IMEX America, which ran Oct. 18-20 at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas. The trade show booth featured an interactive video wall that allows users to access detailed information about hotel, convention and event spaces through the power of touch-screen technology.
