January 31, 2017

Ed Several, formerly senior vice president and general manager of PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, has been tapped for a new role as senior vice president, integration and commercial optimization–Reed Exhibitions Americas.

In his new role and during the transition, Several will continue to assist with relationships and long-term strategy on events from his previous portfolio and will be reporting directly to Hervé Sedky, President of Reed Exhibitions Americas.

“Ed Several’s sustained success over the past 12 years in elevating the value of the PGA Shows portfolio, plus multiple additional events across a diverse spectrum of industries, has made Ed vital to our success in optimizing current business events and integrating newly acquired events across the Americas,” Sedky said.

Several first joined Reed Exhibitions in 2004 as the industry vice president and show manager for PGA events.

Additionally, Yancy Weinrich, Reed Exhibitions senior vice president and 12-year trade show industry veteran will now oversee the PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions portfolio of events, which include the PGA Merchandise Show and the PGA Fashion & Demo Experience.

The PGA Merchandise Show, held each January in Orlando, hosts more than 40,000 industry professionals from some 90 countries and more than 1,000 golf-related companies and brands participating in product exhibitions, demonstrations, educational seminars and special events.

The PGA Fashion & Demo Experience, held each August in Las Vegas, features an upscale presentation of golf fashion, equipment and technology merchandise from more than 200 companies and brands, a full education conference and numerous industry networking events.

Coming to Reed Exhibitions from the jewelry industry in 2004, Weinrich has grown the Reed Exhibitions Reed Jewelry Group to now include an expansive number of successful business events including multiple JCK, Luxury and JIS Events, and also oversees the publication of JCK Magazine.

“I am excited to lead an established and strong PGA Show team already in place,” said Weinrich. “With a focus on delivering exceptional value at all levels, we will continue to develop new programming and enhance PGA Show Week in ways that will help drive the global business of golf forward.”

She continued, “Both the golf and jewelry industries are collaborative and retail driven and I look forward to identifying new programs to exceed the needs of our PGA Show customers.”

Marc Simon, event director for PGA Worldwide Golf Exhibitions, will continue in his role for the PGA Merchandise Show and PGA Fashion & Demo Experience.
