Accounts Payable Spring 2013 Conference & Expo Snags Big-name Sponsors
The Institute of Finance & Management’s Accounts Payable Spring 2013 Conference & Expo has lined up several big-name sponsors, including IBM and Commerce Bank, for its April 10-12 at the at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Washington, D.C.
"Time remains to sponsor and attend AP Expo Spring 2013," said RD Whitney, CEO of the IOFM.
He added, "Our event is a destination no serious AP professional would want to miss. Smart practitioners will descend on Washington, D.C., in April to network, learn best-practices and earn their accreditation.”
AP Expo Spring 2013 features three days of presentations and workshops led by representatives from national and global organizations.
The AP Spring Expo 2013 is the only AP membership meeting strictly focused on accounts payable education and practical approaches to automation, leadership and process improvements.
Besides sponsors IBM and Commerce Bank, among others, companies such as MGM Resorts International, Gap, Inc., University of Pennsylvania, Mayo Clinic, The Home Depot, CITGO Petroleum, University of Louisville, UPS and Pacific Gas & Electric are sending accounts payable speakers to present on the breakthroughs they have reached in improving and streamlining AP processes.

A keynote, “Drive Value Creation through P2P Automation”, given by Deborah Rich-Walker, CAPP, senior manager of Financial Operations for The Home Depot.
“Ask not, ‘What does AP cost?’ Rather, ask ‘What does AP contribute?’” led by Suzanne M. Fassler, CMA, CAPP, AP director for jcpenney Company.
“What’s Working in Automation: The Pitfalls of Automation and Partial Automation” led by Dustin Rozeboom, Corporate Accounts Payable Supervisor, CITGO Petroleum.
