Freeman Adds Event Tech Directory to Fuzion by Freeman Ecosystem

September 24, 2019

In an effort to solve the industry-wide challenges of digital event tool integration, in 2017 Freeman launched Fuzion by Freeman. The open product ecosystem is designed to give event managers the ability to choose and integrate the best-of-breed software solutions that work best for their programs.

Establishing a common language that allows multiple software tools to talk to one another results in a more unified, meaningful view of events along with improved analytics, according to Freeman officials.

Now, to further improve and simplify the event technology selection process, Freeman has added a Fuzion event tech directory. The new directory allows customers to quickly find relevant providers within the network of more than 120 Fuzion partners.

“When putting on an event, especially one rich with technology, integration can become a major challenge,” said Danielle Puceta, Freeman’s senior vice president – digital. “With so many components contributing to an overall live experience, you can quickly find yourself working with more than a dozen different vendors to produce a single event.”

Puceta cited examples of the types of tools that benefit from integration: registration, floor plan management, mobile app development, lead retrieval, digital signage and social media, to name a few. The Fuzion partner network consists of companies that deliver tools and systems to help event planners and marketers manage all of these areas and more.

“Fuzion seamlessly integrates all of these event technologies to create a simpler, more cohesive event experience for planners,” she explained. “This simplicity encourages increased technology adoption, which enables more personalized, interactive and engaging experiences for attendees.”

Freeman also announced that it has expanded its Fuzion Partner Program and will host its second Fuzion Summit Nov. 11-12 in Chicago. The summit brings together some of the industry’s top event technology companies to discuss industry trends and challenges as well as to collaboratively innovate on how to advance the event industry as a whole. Fuzion partners wishing to attend the event can reach out to fuzion@freeman.com.

“By developing a robust partner program and creating a comprehensive directory, we’re empowering partners to improve product and system integrations while also creating a simpler, more beneficial platform for customers to choose and connect all of the event tech solutions,” Puceta explained. “Everyone wins.”
