As an offshoot of WasteExpo, a solid waste, recycling and organics industry event, Penton will launch a two-day event - the Waste360 Recycling Summit. U.K.-based Tarsus Group reached an agreement to sell 100 percent of Tarsus France Holdings SAS to Magellan VI SAS for approximately £6.6 million ($10.3 million). The sale supersedes an earlier agreement, announced on Jan. 8, 2014, in which Tarsus sold 18 percent of the French business to CRG Consulting SAS. “Since 2010 we have reshaped the Group’s portfolio to target a greater exposure to the U.S. and emerging markets,” said Tarsus Group Managing Director Douglas Emslie. The Oregon Convention Center plant to install what is anticipated to be the largest solar array on a convention center in the U.S. More than 6,500 rooftop solar panels are expected to produce 25 percent of the facility’s electricity. This year’s Summer NAMM show drew 13,936 attendees July 9-11 in Nashville, which was a 13-percent increase, compared with 2014.
