A series of trade events will look to alternative venues as the closure of the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre nears for the redevelopment of the Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct (SICEEP). In its fourth year in Denver, the SnowSports Industries America’s (SIA) Snow Show continued to hit its stride, despite some challenging times in the industry, with an increase in exhibiting companies and net square footage when it recently ran at the Colorado Convention Center. “The show had fantastic energy. Major improvements are in the works for the Las Vegas Convention Center, some starting in the next few months. When the 20,000 Safari Club International Convention attendees celebrated their 41st anniversary in Reno, Nev., this past January, they were able to navigate through their adventure with their smartphones and tablets. The SCI 2013 event app was made available courtesy of the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority (RSCVA).
