E.J. Krause & Associates Will Launch New Show for Non-wovens in Thailand

E.J. Krause & Associates will launch Southeast Asia Nonwovens and Disposable Hygiene Technology Exhibition & Conference (ANDTEX). The three-day event will take place May 15-17, 2019, at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC) in Thailand.

ANDTEX is set to be Southeast Asia’s premier event for the nonwovens and engineered fabrics industry.

HKCEC Posts a Record Attendance of 8.2 Million in FY2017-18

In its previous financial year (which ran from July 2017 to June 2018), the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) announced that it hosted a total of 1,061 events, including 118 exhibitions, 166 conferences and hundreds of corporate meetings, banquets and entertainment events.

The venue welcomed over 8.2 million visitors during the year, including exhibitors, trade buyers, conference and meeting delegates, event visitors, banquet guests and restaurant customers.

Tarsus Group Buys Remaining 50% Stake of E.J. Krause in Mexico; Announces Other Deals

U.K.-based Tarsus Group has bought the remaining 50 percent share of its joint venture in Mexico with E.J. Krause for approximately $18 million, as well as announcing other deals in Southeast Asia and the United Arab Emirates.

With the option to buy exercised, the Mexico deal is expected to close the first week of October.

In addition to the redesign of all pre-function spaces, meeting rooms and ballrooms, Mandalay Bay's 1 million square feet of exhibit space has undergone a rejuvenation, including new paint, covered pillars and relocated strobe lights.
