The global event management platform, etouches, has been acquired by HGGC, a middle market private equity firm. The inaugural Phuket RendezVous will be held at the Royal Phuket Marina from 4th to 7th January 2018. The new event will replace the 14-year old Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX). Royal Phuket Marina will partner with Asia RendezVous, an Asian luxury lifestyle event organiser, to host the Phuket RendezVous. The four-day show will showcase high-end products on land and in the water. Visitors are expected from Asia, Europe, as well as from across Thailand. UBM SES, formerly Singapore Exhibition Services, announced its Chief Executive, Lindy Wee, will step down and serve as a Non-Executive Director. Paul Wan, Managing Director of UBM Singapore, will take on the Chief Executive role effective from 1st July 2017. Paul Wan joined UBM Asia in 2005 and was promoted to Managing Director of UBM Singapore in 2011. The National Propane Gas Association experienced record growth in both size and exhibiting companies at its 70th Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo, held April 21-23 at the Music City Center in Nashville.
